Liu Lin: A New Gem in Brussels

Dernière mise à jour : 12 juin 2023

Just a few short weeks ago, the culinary scene in Brussels gained a delightful new addition: Liu Lin. Presented as "Taiwan-inspired street food," Liu Lin exceeds expectations with its cool ambiance and amazing food. Even better? Their entire menu is 100% plant-based. A word to the wise: be prepared to be spoilt by the many choices. Every dish on the menu is a real treat!

After much deliberation, I settled on the Crispy wontons and the Lalot skewer, while my dining companion opted for the Taro & mini spring rolls and the Lin's rice noodle bowl.

The wontons were an instant hit: the perfect balance of crunchiness complimented by a refreshing daikon cream. The spring rolls were equally impressive, and our main courses did not disappoint! One minor suggestion - if you're ordering starters and mains, you might want to mix things up a bit to avoid a double helping of wontons or spring rolls. But then again, they're so scrumptious you might not mind the repetition!

Liu Lin also offers a carefully curated beverage selection. I enjoyed a Yugen kombucha, which was the perfect refreshing accompaniment to my meal.

But what truly sets Liu Lin apart is the passion and joy that the owners, two lovely sisters, infuse into their establishment. They've hit the trifecta: a charming venue, delectable food, and delightful hosts. It's a winning combination all around!

Visit them at Rue Haute 20, 1000 Bruxelles.
